What We’re Most Looking Forward to in 2017
Here is what we’re looking forward to in 2017.
1. Facebook Advertising and Facebook Live
We’re most excited about Facebook Advertising and Facebook Live. Facebook Live started off big but Facebook seems to have decreased their focus on it a bit. It is still a very big deal. We’re still using it every week in our Happy Hour and we get a lot of positive feedback. With the introduction of Instagram Live, we’re predicting live video is still going to be huge in 2017.
Facebook Advertising is a highly targeted and incredibly good platform. With advertising networks becoming too spammy and less effective, Facebook Advertising becomes an even more attractive platform. Used properly, it can have a huge positive impact on your business.
Facebook Live and Facebook Advertising is our highest priority in the beginning of 2017.
2. Instagram Live
Instagram Live came out recently and we think it’s going to be big. Facebook owns Instagram and they are pushing Instagram Live to be a success. We think it’s going to be a very interesting new marketing element for businesses that can reach people that they are not normally able to reach.
We haven’t dipped our feet into Snapchat yet, but we know how big it is. It can be difficult to make a case to some smaller B2B companies to get on the Snapchat train. We think more and more businesses are going to get into Snapchat this coming year.
4. Drone Video
We got drone licensed recently and we’re extremely excited to use it in 2017. Creativity will be key for us in this area. We cannot wait to get flying.
5. Happy Hour
We have been doing our Happy Hour almost every Thursday since June. We’ve been playing with a bunch of different technical and creative aspects. We’re tweaking it and making it better.
Most importantly, we’re going to bring more guests to talk with us to bring more value to Happy Hour. We’re incredibly excited about the conversation we’re going to have in 2017.
